VIMBC Announces Music Business Conference for Emerging West Coast Artists
For those who want to know more about the music industry or get tips from industry professionals on how to better produce their own music, distribute and promote it, the 3rd annual Vancouver Island Music Business Conference (VIMBC) is a four day event being held June 24th to June 27th in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island.
A diverse group of regional, national and international music industry panelists will be presenting information in various workshops throughout the event covering topics such as songwriting, music publishing, production, marketing and promotion, legal issues affecting musicians, and funding resources. Delegate passes are available online which give the participants access to workshops, performances, and socializing events including a concert by Chilliwack. Executive delegate passes are also available and include a round of golf at the Crown Isle Golf Resort as well as exclusive networking opportunities.
