Vancouver: Celebration of Musqueam Heritage located at GM Place: Illustration of Musqueam traditions and history highlighted on signage outside Gate 3
Canucks Sports & Entertainment is pleased to announce an introduction of signage designed to illustrate the rich history, unique culture and proud traditions of the Musqueam people. The signage celebrates the coastal people, originating from the Coast Salish, who have inhabited Vancouver and its outlying territories for centuries. The signage can now be viewed outside of Gate 3 at General Motors Place, located above the North Plaza.
“We are honored to share a small part of the deep traditions and culture of the Musqueam people,” said Canucks Chief Operating Officer, Victor de Bonis. “The signage outside General Motors Place highlights the Musqueam people’s storied history and background as well as some of their significant contributions to arts around the world.”
