Vancouver Biennale Artwork Stolen
Less than a month ago, the Vancouver Biennale flew British artist Sophie Ryder back to Vancouver to replace a part of her sculpture, ”Minotaur and Hare“ after it was vandalized in its exhibition space, VanDusen Gardens. (No, it wasn’t me).
Now the hare has gone missing — and whether the work of a determined prankster or someone who knew the worth of the art they were thieving, the culprits are likely facing heavy fines or jailtime.
