Submissions open for the Carter Wosk BC Creative Achievement Awards for Applied Art and Design
Keith Mitchell, Chair of the British Columbia Achievement Foundation announced today the Call for Submissions and Nominations for the annual BC Creative Achievement Awards for Applied Art and Design.
“These awards honour outstanding creativity in art and design that has a practical application,” said Mitchell. “To date, we have honoured 23 outstanding British Columbians who work in jewellery, glass, wood, fibre, clay, metal, industrial or fashion design.”
An artist may be nominated or self-submit to these juried awards. Up to three awards of $2,500 will be presented at a formal ceremony in the fall of 2010.
