Smithers Secondary wins 2010 zone drama festival

They say: all the world’s a stage.

The world that is northwest BC came to the stage at Mount Elizabeth Theatre in Kitimat from February 4 to 7 to compete in the 2010 Northwest Zone High School Drama Festival.

Kitimat hosted representatives from Prince Rupert, Smithers, Hazelton and Houston, and a total of 11 plays and four workshops were showcased.

Festival adjudicator was Tim Johnson whose credentials included Technical Director at Chemainus Theatre and running his own production company, Random Acts of Production.
