Salmon Arm: Arts awards handed out

Special awards were handed out at SAGA Public Art Gallery last week in honour of Marie Manson and Blair Borden.

This year, the Marie Manson Memorial Arts Award, which offers yearly scholarships to local artists, has chosen Scott Crocker, an installation artist, as its 2010 winner.

Though the award considers all artistic disciplines, installation art is a new category.
