Project development fund and New digital media development fund now open for applications
The British Columbia Film Project Development Fund provides ‘market triggered’ development financing for individual projects.
A non-recoupable advance, matching up to 50% of the eligible triggering agent commitment is available. Applicants must be British Columbia owned and controlled production companies. International treaty or interprovincial co-productions are eligible under this program.

The Digital Media Development Fund provides ‘market triggered’ development financing for digital media projects. Digital media projects must be interactive, and can be either standalone content, or convergent to an existing film or television project.
A non-recoupable advance, matching up to 50% of the eligible triggering agent commitment is available. Applicants must be British Columbia owned and controlled production companies.
