Princeton: ‘Dirty work’ on Friday
In an era of fast paced movies loaded with Hollywood special effects, it is wonderful to see the tradition of live theater being carried on in Princeton. No computer generated enhancements, no multiple takes, simply live actors presenting a story on stage in front of a live audience. . The Princeton Performing Arts Society was formed in 2006, the same time as the Riverside Theater opening. The Society is self supporting, generating revenue from play ticket sales and advertising in the program. They have been awarded several small development grants which have contributed to the theater by building dressing rooms, curtains for the stage, a makeup room, rigging for flying sets and wireless headsets.
