MusicFest audience ‘happy as pigs in Parliament’
Three days, six stages, 250 performers.
Add yummy food, funky crafts and the beautiful Tsolum River and you get one of the top music festivals in Western Canada.
This Friday to Sunday, from July 9 to 11, Vancouver Island MusicFest will showcase the best in roots and world music from around the globe. Get ready for great music and lots of it as daytime stages will feature everything from blues to country tunes and Celtic melodies and every musical sound in between. And it all happens on the beautiful lawns and forested areas of the Comox Valley Exhibition Grounds.
At night all the action takes place on the mainstage with headliners such as Roberta Flack, Calypso Rose, Joan Osborne and the Holmes Brothers. With lineups like that, it’s no surprise that Outside magazine voted VIMF one of the Top 25 outdoor festivals in North America in 2009.
