Legendary B.C. entertainers recognized
Eight people were inducted into the B.C. Entertainment Hall of Fame’s Starwalk at a ceremony held at the Orpheum Theatre on Sunday night.
Among them was actor Bruce Greenwood, known for his playing a president of the U.S. in both National Treasure: Book of Secrets, with Nicolas Cage, and Thirteen Days — as John F. Kennedy– with Kevin Costner. Greenwood, who studied philosophy and economics at the University of B.C., also played Capt. Christopher Pike in 2009′s Star Trek.
Greenwood called it “impossibly wonderful” to be recognized by his peers at the ceremony, which was presented in part by The Vancouver Sun.
