Duncan: Gallery’s aim: raise profile of the arts
Photographic art of all kinds will shine from the walls at Fletcherfoto, according to Paul Fletcher, owner of the Valley’s latest gallery, located at 109 Ingram St. in Duncan.
“It’s a gallery to show my own work, of course, but I thought I’d also promote photographic arts and Cowichan Valley artists. I think we really need arts in our lives.
“Here we really focus on sports and seem to miss the arts, although we’ve got little pockets of arts going on. I thought it would be a nice addition to the community,” he said in an interview at his official opening recently.
This is Fletcher’s second art gallery in Duncan.
