Delta: Hip-hop doc launches new Social Justice Film Collective
The screening of a documentary film about gender and violence in hip-hop music helps launch the newly formed Social Justice Film Collective in North Delta.
The collective was formed with the intent of bringing people together in a suburban setting to explore issues that affect communities.
“The Lower Mainland has many social justice events, but they are often focused in the Vancouver area,” says Ravi Kahlon, a member of the collective.
