City may get new $45-million museum

Richmond could be in line for a $45-million destination museum on the scale of the Olympic Oval to rival any of its kind in BC, Canada and even North America.

Plans for the museum, anticipated to attract visitors from far and wide, are still at a very early stage, but a draft feasibility study was endorsed this week by city council’s parks, recreation and cultural services committee.
