Ballet BC dancers take to the small stage: Legion on the Drive will be awash in beer and ballet for three nights
For Ballet BC dancers, the stage doesn’t get much smaller than at Dances for a Small Stage.
Usually, Ballet BC dancers perform on the Queen Elizabeth Theatre’s massive stage, which measures 12.8 metres by 9.1 metres (42 feet by 30 feet).
At the Legion on the Drive, the stage is much, much smaller. Compared with its downtown counterpart, the four-by three-metre (13-by 10-foot) stage in east Vancouver is minuscule.
But starting this evening, for three nights, the smaller stage is exactly where you’ll find Ballet BC.
