100 Mile House: Artists Guild celebrates 30 years at show
The Cariboo Artists Guild has history with 100 Mile House. Thirty years of history to be exact, and they’re ready to celebrate it through their upcoming summer show and sale at Parkside Art Gallery.
The six-week event opens on July 23 with an artists’ reception from 5 to 9 p.m. in the main gallery. That’s where people can meet and mingle with the artists and get first dibs on any of the dozens of local original artworks that will be on display.
This year’s theme is ‘Our Cariboo Heritage’ and participating artists have created one piece to represent it. Show patrons will have the opportunity to cast a vote for their favourite in this category as well as marking their ballot for the best picture of the show.
